Championship Finals weekend
After three months of hard work and play the Cork County Basketball Board Championship Finals weekend are almost here with the first two games taking place in the Parochial Hall on Friday night March 27th, through all day Saturday and up to lunch time on Sunday the 29th of March.
Our thanks to our clubs for your help in getting the previous rounds completed, we have seen many exciting quarter final and semi-finals completed and it all leads to this weekend. The schedule of games is as follows:
Under 20(A) Friday 27/03/26 6.30 pm – Neptune v. Carrigaline
Division 1 Friday 27/03/26 8.00 pm – Fr. Matthhews BIDL v. Blue Demons
Under 12 Saturday 28/03/26 9.00 am – Neptune v. Ballincollig
Under 16(A) Saturday 28/03/26 10.30 pm – Neptune v. Blue Demons White
Under 18(B) Saturday 28/03/26 12.00 pm – Mallow v Skibbereen (Semi final)
Under 18(A) Saturday 28/03/26 1.30 pm – Neptune v. Limerick Lions
Under 14(B) Saturday 28/03/26 3.00 pm – Youghal v. Midleton
Under 15 Saturday 28/03/26 4.15 pm – Carrigaline v. Bantry
Under 16(B) Saturday 28/03/26 5.30 pm – East Cork Glenmary v. Mallow
Divison 3 Saturday 28/03/26 7.00 pm – Ballinhassig Bulls v. Mayfield Dynamo’s
Division 2 Saturday 28/03/26 8.30 pm – East Cork United v. Carrig Na Bhfear Rebels
Under 13 Sunday 29/03/26 9.15 am – Cobh v. Neptune
Under 17 Sunday 29/03/26 10.45 am – Neptune v. Fr. Matthews
Under 14(A) Sunday 29/03/26 12.00 pm – Neptune Tridents v. Kanturk
These games will be followed by two more next Tuesday in the Parochial Hall on the 31st of March:
Under 18(B) Tuesday 31/03/26 6.45 am – Mallow/Skibbereen v. Ballincollig
Under 20(B) Tuesday 31/03/26 8.15 am – Midleton v. Cobh
Please note that presentations will take place after the respective finals and we would ask all spectators to refrain from entering court as we have a number of games to get through so we can get through them as efficiently as possible. No unauthorised photograpy or videography is permitted within the venue and no abusive language will be tolerated and you maybe asked to leave.
The shop will be open and serve snack, drinks etc.
The usual entry fee of €3 for over 15’s and €2 for under 15’s apply.
