Michael Heffernan Under 18 tournament
Cork County Basketball Board roars back into action this weekend as we hold the 2025 Boys Under 18 Michael Heffernan. The tournament which honours the godfather of our sport in Cork again sees a number of clubs from around join our local clubs in this prestigious tournament.
In particular we are delighted to see Fermoy Basketball take an entry in this prestigious tournament after many years of hard work building through the age groups and the b grade we are happy to see them make this leap.
The tournament begins tomorrows the 6th of September 2025 with our first games tipping off at 9.00 am in the Parochial Hall and Neptune stadium. The usual round robin pool format begins our day followed by quarter finals and semi-finals. With the final pencilled in for a 6.30 pm we are looking forward to exciting day of basketball to begin our season.
Entry to both venues is as usual Over 15’s-€3 and Under 15’s €2.
