Cork County Basketball Board announces new President
Cork County Basketball Board are delighted to welcome Jim O’ Donoghue of Neptune Basketball club to the position of President of the Cork County Basketball Board.
One of O’ Donoghue family brothers who has kept the heartbeat of Neptune alive. After a successful playing career he became an integral part of the stadium project and a member of C.C.B.O.A. Jim fulfilled every role in the club and for many years also served the Cork County Basketball Board as Secretary and fixture secretary.
Chairman of Cork County Basketball Board Willie McCarthy is extremely happy that Jim has accepted the position of President and is “looking forward to him assisting myself and my fellow board members in striving to make Cork Basketball better”.
To mark to the occasion Willie McCarthy, Chairperson of the Cork County Basketball Board presented Jim O’ Donoghue with a token to mark the occasion this evening at the Energwise Neptune v UCC Blue Demons Super league game this evening.
