2023-24 Season Preparations Underway
Preparations for the new season are underway with the board having met on a number of occasions since our annual general meeting.
With one coaching course complete we are pleased to announce that our next Level 1 Coaching course will take place on the weekend of August 25 th , 26 th and 27 th . Times for the Friday are 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Saturday 9.30 am until 5.00 pm and Sunday 9.15 am until 2.00 pm. The Friday and Saturday course will be held at the Parochial Hall and Sunday’s at Colaiste Choilm, Ballincollig. Places will be limited and the cost of the course is €80 per person.
Our player development sessions will take place on Saturday August 12 th and Saturday August 19 th .Under 13 downwards from 9.30 am until 11.00 am and Under 14 to Under 16 from 11 am on both days. Registration details to follow and players are asked to bring balls and refreshments on the day.
Our second annual coaching conference will take place on Saturday September 2 nd and is a joint venture with the Ladies Board. Last years conference was a great success and all coaches coaching in any league run by either of the boards are welcome to attend free of charge. There will be points available for this and the amount is being discussed at present. The coaches and speakers are currently being finalised and the speakers will be announced shortly.
The board will also be celebrating its 75 th anniversary this year and will be holding a number of events during the year. Clubs will be advised of the first event in the coming weeks.
