Ballincollig were congratulating Kieran O’ Sullivan on receiving his master Ireland cap yesterday whilst wishing Adrian O’ Sullivan the best of luck in the FIBA World Cup qualifier. A win over Boyne Warrior last weekend advances them to the quarter-finals of the N.I.C.C.’s
Bantry Under 12 (orange) boys were away to Labanga last weekend but unfortunately lost out by a single basket. Bantry were also promoting their Under-age games tomorrow the 23rdof November but unfortunately due to a Red Weather warning they have been cancelled.
Blue Demons pages see Elijah Tillman win M.V.P. in their Super League win over Maree last weekend. They continue to promote and encourage fans to buy tickets for their New York draw.
Cork Celts are starting a new “last man standing” this weekend, €10 to enter with €300 going to the winner. They are happy with a Celtics win over Cleveland and congratulated Ireland on their win over Azerbaijan.
East Cork United report on their away game to Kanturk winning on a scoreline of 67 to 85, going 5 out 5 in game wins and looking forward to their next game away versus Cobh in Colaiste Mhuire tomorrow evening.
Fr. Matthews Division 1 team had a win against Ballymacelligot Bobcats 64-58 and are through to a home quarter final where they now meet St. Brendan’s in the National Cup on this Sunday the 24th at 2 p.m. They also congratulated their Under 16 on their win away against Mallow which involved a nail biting last quarter. Fr. Matthews also wish their B.I.D.L. team best of luck as they travel to Maree tonight and are hoping to make it 3 wins from 43 to start the season.
Kanturk are praising the efforts of their Under 18 team who had a great team effort but an unlucky result against Youghal. They also shared the Discover Duhallow magazine who shared the news of Shane O’Sullivan and Sean Clernon’s selection to the Cork Under 14 team.
Labananga are thanking a local sponsor for their support of the club.
Macroom were happy with their Under 12 visit to Midleton and our promoting socia-basketball in Macroom Leisure Centre.
Mallow posted on their three games over last weekend for their Under 14, Under 17 and Division 1 teams.
Neptune were also congratulating Jason O’ Callaghan (Men’s 50’s) and Brian O’ Neill (Men’s 40’s) on receiving their Ireland caps. A proud moment for the players and the clubs. Congratulations also went to Mick McGinn and Marcus Walley who also represented the Men’s 50 but could not attend the ceremony.
